The daily salt intake should be reduced to less than 5gm, the foods high in sodium like processed meat and canned foods, pickle, pappad, commercial salad dressing. Try to replace refined grains with whole grains, including brown rice and whole wheat breads and pasta.

8.Keeping a Good Balance

Meat, dairy, poultry, fish and healthy.fats along with carbohydrates,green leafy vegetables and fruits should all be included in the diabetic diet.
